About the role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Textile Shop to assist with various store tasks. This role is ideal for individuals with an interest in retail and textiles, offering opportunities to learn about inventory management, customer service, and product displays. You'll support the team in maintaining stock, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth store operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and organizing textile inventory, ensuring products are stocked and displayed correctly.
- Provide excellent customer service, helping customers select fabrics and answering product-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and stock levels.
- Assist with store displays and visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience.
- Support the team with daily administrative tasks, including data entry and processing customer orders.
Skills & Technologies
- Strong communication skills to assist customers and handle inquiries effectively.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and POS (Point of Sale) software.
- Ability to organize and maintain physical and digital records of textile products.
- Attention to detail for ensuring accurate stock levels, sales transactions, and product displays.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations, including Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
