About the role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Backend Developer Intern to join our backend development team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with experienced backend engineers, contributing to critical projects and learning industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in a chosen backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Ruby).
- Contribute to database design and optimization (SQL or NoSQL).
- Troubleshoot and debug backend application issues.
- Work with RESTful APIs or other API technologies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side applications and APIs.
- Learn and apply new backend technologies and frameworks as needed.
Skills & Technologies
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Ruby).
- Knowledge of API design and development is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js, Ruby on Rails) is a plus.
