About the role
Tech Mahindra is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. The role requires strong analytical abilities, a high level of attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Support in the preparation of management reports and assist in ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal accounting standards.
- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.
Skills & Technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting tools.
